We collect information from you directly, from devices you use to interact with Josu, from the AI generation activity you conduct on the platform, and from third parties. We may combine information across these sources and with our business records.

• Payment information (processed by our third-party payment processor — see Section 6)

Generation Activity Data

When you create AI-generated video on Josu, we collect:

• Generation Requests: Text prompts, style selections, and any other inputs you submit when creating a video.
• Likeness Selections: If you elect to use a licensed celebrity or talent likeness, we record which likeness was selected and associated with each Generation Request.
• Generated Content: The AI-generated video outputs produced from your requests. We may retain Generated Content to support your account, enable re-download, investigate abuse, and improve the Service.
• Credit activity: Records of credits purchased, used, and remaining balance.
• Generation metadata: Timestamps, generation parameters, model version used, processing duration, and success or failure status of each request.

Information We Collect Automatically

• Device information: IP address, device identifiers, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visit, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data
• Analytical information about your interaction with Josu and its features
• Diagnostic information including web traffic logs and error reports
• Advertising identifiers that enable us or third parties to target advertisements to you
• Business records including credit purchases and usage history

Information from Third-Party AI Generation Providers

Josu routes your Generation Requests to third-party AI video generation models (such as Runway, Pika, Kling, or similar providers) to produce your Generated Content. When we transmit your Generation Request to these providers, that transmission is subject to their data practices. We may receive back the Generated Content, processing metadata, and error or moderation signals. Please review the privacy policies of the underlying generation model providers.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate Josu: Including processing your Generation Requests, managing your credit balance, delivering Generated Content, and monitoring Service performance.
• To improve Josu: To develop new features, improve generation quality, understand usage, and measure marketing effectiveness. We may analyze Generation Request patterns and outputs in aggregate or de-identified form.
• To manage your account: To manage your registration and provide access to features available to you as a Subscriber.
• For the performance of a contract: To fulfill credit purchases, process Generation Requests, and perform contractual obligations arising from your use of Josu.
• To contact you: Regarding your account, generation activity, credit balance, service updates, or security notifications.
• To provide marketing communications: News, special offers, and information about goods and services similar to those you've purchased or inquired about, unless you've opted out.
• To administer contests and promotions: Where you use credits to enter eligible promotional contests or sweepstakes, we use your information to administer those programs, verify eligibility, select winners, and fulfill prizes in accordance with the applicable official rules.
• To deliver targeted advertising: To develop and display content and advertising tailored to your interests and/or location, and to measure its effectiveness.
• For business transfers: To evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets.
• For security and abuse prevention: To detect and prevent unauthorized use, generation of prohibited content, fraud, or illegal activities, and to enforce our Terms of Service and content policies.
• For legal compliance: To comply with legal process including warrants, subpoenas, court orders, and lawful regulatory or law enforcement requests.

How We Share Your Information

• With third-party AI generation model providers: To fulfill your Generation Requests, we transmit your prompts, likeness selections, and related inputs to the AI video generation models that power Josu (such as Runway, Pika, Kling, or similar providers). These providers act as service providers to us and are contractually restricted from using your information for unrelated purposes.
• With rights-holder partners: Where you select a licensed likeness, we may share Generation Request metadata (but not your personal identifying information) with the applicable rights-holder or their authorized representative, as required by Loti AI's licensing arrangements.
• With service providers: Vendors engaged for payment processing, analytics, fraud detection, and customer communications. These vendors may only use shared information to provide the requested service.
• With online advertising partners: Companies we partner with to advertise Josu, including those using cookies for retargeting and measuring advertising effectiveness.
• For business transfers: In connection with a merger, sale of Company assets, financing, or acquisition. We will provide notice before your personal information is transferred.
• With affiliates: Subject to this Privacy Policy.
• With business partners: To offer you certain products, services, or promotions.
• To government entities / law enforcement: When required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
• For legal purposes: To comply with legal obligations; protect the rights or property of Loti AI; prevent wrongdoing; protect user safety; or protect against legal liability.

Generated Content & Licensed Likenesses

Your Generated Content

When you use Josu to create a video, the resulting Generated Content is associated with your account. We retain Generated Content for a period of time after creation to support your ability to access and re-download your videos. Your rights in and to Generated Content, including any restrictions on use, distribution, or commercial exploitation, are governed by Josu's Terms of Service.

Licensed Likeness Use

Josu gives you the option to generate video content featuring licensed celebrity or talent likenesses made available through Loti AI's rights-holder relationships. When you select a licensed likeness:

• Your selection is recorded and associated with your Generation Request.
• Your Generation Request and output are subject to the terms of the applicable license, which may restrict certain types of content, commercial use, or distribution.
• Loti AI may share anonymized or aggregated generation activity data with rights holders as part of its licensing and reporting obligations. Your personal identifying information is not shared with rights holders without your consent.
• Generating content that violates the applicable license or Josu's content policies may result in content removal and account suspension.

Content Moderation

We use automated systems and, in some cases, human review to detect Generation Requests or Generated Content that may violate our content policies, applicable license terms, or the law. Information collected in connection with content moderation may be retained for safety and enforcement purposes.

Credits, Transactions & Contest Entry

Credit Purchases

Josu uses a credit-based model. All credit purchases are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store or collect your payment card details — that information is provided directly to our payment processor and is governed by their privacy policy and PCI-DSS requirements. We retain records of credit purchases, usage, and balance history associated with your account.

Promotional Contests & Sweepstakes

From time to time, Josu may offer promotional contests or sweepstakes you may enter using credits or through other means specified in the applicable official rules. If you participate:

• We collect information necessary to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, select winners, and fulfill prizes.
• Your participation is subject to the official rules for that promotion, made available at the time of the promotion.
• Contest entry through credit use does not guarantee any prize or outcome. All promotions are administered in accordance with applicable law.
• Winner information may be publicly disclosed as required by applicable law or the official rules of the promotion.

Your Account

Please visit your Josu account page to update your account information and preferences.

Data Retention

• Account information: Retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period afterward.
• Generation Requests and metadata: Retained to support Service improvement, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.
• Generated Content: Retained for a period of time to support re-download and account management. Retention periods may vary.
• Credit and transaction records: Retained as required for financial recordkeeping and legal compliance.
• Usage data: Generally retained for a shorter period, except where needed to strengthen security or improve functionality.

Cross-Border Data Transfer

Your information — including your Generation Requests — may be transferred to and processed on computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other jurisdiction, including in the countries where our third-party AI generation model providers operate. Any such transfers will comply with safeguards as required by relevant law.

Data Security

While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Email Marketing

We may contact you with newsletters, marketing materials, and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out by following the unsubscribe link in any email we send or by contacting us directly.

Minor Users

California residents under the age of 18 who are registered Josu users may request removal of publicly posted content or information. Contact us with the email address associated with your account. Complete removal cannot be guaranteed.

Notice of Collection

We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors under the age of 16, nor sell or share such information without affirmative authorization from the individual (13–16) or their parent or guardian (under 13).

Your CCPA Rights

• Right to know, access, correct, or delete personal information we have collected about you, including sources, purposes, and third parties with whom we share it.

Your request must provide sufficient information to verify your identity and describe your request in enough detail for us to respond. We will not use verification information for any other purpose.

"Do Not Track" Policy

Josu responds to the Global Privacy Control signal for U.S. residents. We do not respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals because there is no formal "Do Not Track" standard. To learn more about enabling the Global Privacy Control, visit globalprivacycontrol.org.

Children's Privacy

Josu is intended for users 13 years old and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us. If we become aware of any such collection without verified parental consent, we will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and, where appropriate, via email or a prominent notice on Josu prior to the change becoming effective. Changes are effective when posted. We will update the Effective Date at the top of this policy whenever changes are made. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
